Description
The french Parennin caliber 25 is a contemporary ladies' form watch
movement, which uses already 17 jewels due to two cap jewels for anchor- and
second wheel. The gold-toned screw balance gives it a very nice optics.
A shock protection was not generally used these days, and so this movement does not
have a protection. It also has got no long regulator arm, although there's a already
a scale on the balance cock.
On the dial side, you see the yoke winding system, as on better movements.
The size of this movement is officially given as 5 1/4 lignes, but when you
measure it, you get a size of 5,66 lignes. Such a huge difference is pretty rare.
