Description
The Osco 850 is one of the latest inhouse movements of the manufactury of Otto Schlund in
Schwenningen, Germany. It is build in a pier construction with undecorated plates and a
winding system, that runs partially in plastic bearings.
The modernly shaped ring balance is secured by two KIF Trior systems; the minute wheel
is excentrically located and the center second (which runs in a clear jewel) is indirectly
driven by a twice geared wheel.
Unfortunately the movement shown here is in a very bad condition with large parts
of the date mechanism and the stem missing as well as with a bent hairspring.
