Description
The Langendorf 5106 is one of the latest cylinder movement, which was apparently released
in the mid or ending 1950ies.
It's already quite modern constructed and no longer reminds of a pocket watch movements. The
cylinder wheel is beared under a somewhat crude bridge, while all other gears, including the
mainspring barrel (which can be released separately) are below a second bridge with angeled
borders. There are only four jewels in this movement, two on the balance (with metal caps) and
two on the cylinder wheel.

On the dial side, you see the modern made rocking bar winding mechanism and the
safety catch, which is pretty well made with click spring and click ratchet.
