The cylinder movement Kasper 100 is from german pre-WWII production.
Unlike most other contemporary cylinder movements, this one already uses
silver-toned plates and bridges.
Of course, the ring balance is not shock protected.

The Kasper 100 uses 6 ruby bearings / cap jewels: Four for the balance and two for the
bearing of the cylinder wheel.

Even though the specimen shown here runs pretty strong and steady after a revision, it shows
a completely irregular pattern on the timegrapher. This is the result of the tips of the
cylinder wheel permantly having contact with the balance cylinder. The noise of it completely
fools the timegrapher.

On the dial side, you can see the rocking bar winding mechanism and the very simple click
mechanism, which consists only of a simple spring.
