Description
Hermann Becker from Pforzheim, Germany, launched probably in the late fixties the
moderly constructed caliber 111, a handwinding mens' size movement with seventeen jewels,
which already contained preparations for cap jewels, which could "tune" the movement
up to 23 jewels.
The balance runs in two Rufa-Anti-Shock protections, which is typical for movements
made in Pforzheim. Since it is a rather late movement, there's no regulator
arm for the hairspring.
The center second hand is directly drive, the minute wheel, too. On the dial side, you
can see, that the mainspring bearing contains one jewel, that's a bit odd, since there's
no technical need for this, but at least, it is the seventeenth jewel.
