The Eppler calibe 2 is a typical representative of the 10 1/2 ligne pin lever movements, which
were very popular especially after WW II in cheap(est) wristwaches.
It is a little bit different than most of its colleagues, since it uses a balance bridge instead
of a balance cock, and additionally, the balance is beared in four rubies and imitates a screw
balance. The "screws" are half-circles, fixed to the balance and not adjustable at all.
A noteable detail is, that the lever has got a counterweight below the escapement wheel.
On the dial side, there's a rocking bar winding mechanism and the locking mechanism.
