Description
The Epple 24 is a midsize cylinder movement from the mid of last century, which was made
in Germany.
Visually, it looks, like all gears have their own bridges, but in fact, with the exception of the
cylinder wheel, all are under one single brige. A noteable fact is the description of the
balance cock: Instead of using A and R (or F and S), the german shortcuts "V" for "Vorgang" (faster)
and "N" for "Nachgang" (slower) and used. A detail, which helped for the identification of that
unmarked movement.
On the dial side, you'll find the familiar rocking bar winding system and a very simple click spring
mechanism.
