Description
The copper-colored caliber 7522/4 from the Deutschen Uhrenrohwerke (DuRoWe) in
Pforzheim, Germany, belongs to their last series of selfwindig movements. With
the standard diameter of 11 1/2 lignes, the glucydur balance, the modern quarter
rotor and the Rufa-Anti-Shock protection system, it represents the development
status of the early 1970ies, when it was produced.
The only noteable fact is probably the clamp mechanism for the dial (at position 4 and 10),
which allows a quick release of the dial.
Interesting detail: Among other manufactureres, OSCO used that movement, too, as you
can see below. But in former years, OSCO even made their own movements.
